Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Introduction

This privacy policy explains how Embery Property Group Ltd (trading as All Painting), a company registered in England and Wales with Company Number 17289509, collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when using this website or contacting us about our services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information We Collect

When you use our contact form or get in touch with us, we may collect the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Your town or postcode, and optionally your full property address (for the purpose of providing a quotation)
  • Details of the work you require
  • Photographs you choose to upload of the areas to be decorated
  • Your preferred contact method and best time to call

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation
  • To arrange and carry out any work you instruct us to perform
  • To communicate with you about your project
  • To maintain records of work completed

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you have given us explicit consent to do so. We do not sell your personal information, and we only share it with the service providers described below, who process it on our behalf.

How Your Enquiry Is Processed and Stored

  • Website and database: this website is hosted by Abacus.AI. When you submit the quotation form, your details are stored in a secure, access controlled database operated as part of that hosting service.
  • Uploaded photographs: any photographs you upload are stored privately in secure cloud storage (Amazon Web Services) provided through our hosting service. They are not publicly accessible. We view them through a private link that is unique to your enquiry, and each image is shown using a temporary access link that expires after a short period.
  • Email notification: when you submit an enquiry, the website sends an email containing your contact details and description of work to our business mailbox, [email protected]. This email is sent by the email notification service of our hosting provider and is received in our Apple iCloud Mail account. Your photographs are not attached to this email.
  • Spam protection: to protect the form from automated abuse, we temporarily use your IP address to limit the number of submissions. This information is held only in memory for a short time and is not stored with your enquiry.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry and providing our services) and, where applicable, for the performance of a contract between us.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months after the date of your last contact with us. Records relating to completed work may be retained for up to six years in accordance with our legal and contractual obligations.

Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your information
  • The right to object to processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent (where consent is the basis for processing)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

This website uses essential cookies that are necessary for the site to function correctly. These cookies do not collect personal information and are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

If we introduce any analytics or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent before placing them.

Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Form submissions are stored in a secure database, and uploaded photographs are stored privately in cloud storage and can only be viewed through an authorised, time limited link.
